	In 2007 President José Ramos-Horta and the government of East Timor raised and allocated more than $250,000 to small projects in the villages. These includes fresh water into the schools, help in farming farm cooperative, rehabilitation of schools, and other vital actions for rebuilding the villages in Timor.
In 2008, as the country recovers from the attempted assassination of their President and hero, we can help them achieve stability, and enjoy the fruits of their hard-won democracy. Funds donated to the Fund for East Timor are transferred in full to East Timor, less credit card fees. Money goes to purchase locally produced materials, and employ the Timorese in rebuilding their country. Please donate today.
